Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support strategic advocacy initiatives, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will manage nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, providing leadership, technical assistance, and collaboration with various stakeholders, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused project initiatives for the Voices for Healthy Kids program, engaging external organizations and lawmakers
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure compliance with funder deliverables and maximize impact across advocacy teams
• Develop and implement training and technical resource tools to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and project oversight
