Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and convene external organizations and lawmakers to improve nutrition policies for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track project metrics and drive impact to achieve funder deliverables across various advocacy initiatives
• Design and implement customized technical assistance plans to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven ability in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy advocacy
