Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support advocacy efforts for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while working remotely or onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage with external organizations, community groups, and lawmakers to drive policy change for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize the impact of the PN-3 nutrition initiative, ensuring alignment with funder deliverables
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven ability in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy advocacy
