Job Summary
To support advocacy efforts for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while working remotely or onsite in Charlotte, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage with external organizations, community groups, and lawmakers to drive policy change for the prenatal-to-three population
- Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize the impact of the PN-3 nutrition initiative, ensuring alignment with funder deliverables
- Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills of external partners and grantees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
- Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
- Proven ability in coalition building and community organizing
- Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy advocacy
