Job Summary
To support strategic nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide leadership, training, and technical assistance while managing relationships with stakeholders and overseeing project metrics in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage nutrition-focused advocacy initiatives by engaging external organizations and community groups to drive policy change
- Track and report on project metrics to ensure alignment with funder deliverables and maximize impact across various teams
- Develop and implement customized technical assistance plans and training resources to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
- Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
- Proven track record in coalition building and community organizing
- Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy development
