Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership and project management focused on nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders and ensuring successful campaign implementation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and convene external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change efforts for improving nutrition in the prenatal-to-three population
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables related to the PN-3 nutrition initiative
• Develop and implement customized technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills and capacity among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
