Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical support while working remotely and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive impactful health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management for Voices for Healthy Kids, engaging external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts
• Track project metrics to drive impact and achieve funder deliverables while collaborating across teams to maximize effectiveness
• Develop and implement customized technical assistance plans and training resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong background in government relations and legislative affairs
• Experience in coalition building and community organizing
• Proficiency in grant management and advocacy communications
