Job Summary
To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing relationships with nutrition funders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Engage and convene external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change for improved nutrition in the prenatal-to-three population
- Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize the impact of nutrition initiatives and achieve funder deliverables
- Develop training and technical resources to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
- Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
- Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
- Familiarity with grant management and nutrition policy development
