Job Summary
To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with external stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change for the prenatal-to-three population
- Track project metrics to ensure progress and achievement of health and wellbeing goals, collaborating across teams to maximize impact
- Design and implement strategic technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills and capacity of external partners and grantees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
- Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
- Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
- Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
