Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with external stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track project metrics to ensure progress and achievement of health and wellbeing goals, collaborating across teams to maximize impact
• Design and implement strategic technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills and capacity of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
