Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership and technical assistance on nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, while working remotely and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement impactful campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage external organizations and lawmakers to improve prenatal-to-three nutrition policies
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize the impact of the PN-3 nutrition initiative
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
