Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while working remotely to enhance collaboration among stakeholders and drive impactful policy change.

Key responsibilities

• Engages external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts to improve nutrition for the prenatal-to-three population
• Tracks initiative metrics to ensure progress and accountability for health and wellbeing outcomes
• Develops training and technical resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven ability in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
