Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support advocacy efforts focused on nutrition policy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage relationships with stakeholders, and develop technical assistance plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused advocacy initiatives, engaging community groups and lawmakers
• Accountable for tracking project metrics and ensuring alignment with funder deliverables across various teams
• Develop collaborative relationships with experts and advocacy entities to enhance policy development and implementation efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
