Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To advance public policy priorities related to nutrition for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage projects, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, with the option for home-based work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused advocacy projects, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy changes
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
