Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage relationships, and develop technical assistance plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management and engage external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact on health and wellbeing initiatives
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
