Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while working remotely and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance public policy efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused advocacy projects by engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy changes
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure alignment with funder deliverables and maximize impact across various teams
• Develop training and technical resources to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in coalition building and legislative affairs
• Proven ability to manage grants and community organizing efforts
• Strong background in nutrition policy and advocacy communications
