Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support advocacy initiatives, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will manage nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, providing strategic leadership and technical assistance while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused advocacy efforts, engaging external organizations and lawmakers
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure alignment with health and wellbeing goals while maximizing impact across teams
• Develop training and technical resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
