Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical assistance while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing relationships with nutrition funders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused project initiatives for Voices for Healthy Kids, engaging community groups and lawmakers to drive policy changes
• Track and report on project metrics, ensuring alignment with funder deliverables and maximizing impact across advocacy teams
• Develop and implement training and technical resource tools to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
