Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership and technical assistance for nutrition policy advocacy focused on the prenatal-to-three population, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project metrics remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Engage external organizations and lawmakers to promote nutrition policy changes for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure alignment with funder deliverables and maximize impact across teams
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
