Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders, working remotely or onsite in Tulsa, OK.

Key responsibilities

• Engage external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts to improve nutrition for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track initiative metrics to drive impact and achieve funder deliverables while collaborating across teams
• Design and implement customized technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and coalition building
• Knowledge of legislative affairs and media advocacy
• Proficiency in grant management and community organizing
