Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support strategic advocacy efforts, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will manage nutrition policy initiatives for the prenatal-to-three population, providing leadership, training, and technical support while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused project initiatives by engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy changes
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables
• Develop technical assistance plans and training resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy advocacy
