Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership and technical support for nutrition policy advocacy focused on the prenatal-to-three population, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project metrics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused advocacy efforts, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure alignment with funder deliverables and maximize impact across teams
• Develop and implement customized technical assistance plans and training resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and nutrition policy advocacy
