Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused initiatives, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to improve prenatal-to-three nutrition
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure progress and achieve deliverables, collaborating across teams to maximize impact
• Develop training and technical resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees, implementing customized technical assistance plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
