Job Summary
To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused initiatives, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to improve prenatal-to-three nutrition
- Track and report on project metrics to ensure progress and achieve deliverables, collaborating across teams to maximize impact
- Develop training and technical resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees, implementing customized technical assistance plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
- Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
- Proven skills in coalition building and community organizing
- Strong writing and public speaking abilities
