Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage relationships with stakeholders, and develop technical assistance plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and convene external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts to improve nutrition for the prenatal-to-three population
• Track initiative metrics to drive impact and achieve funder deliverables while collaborating across teams
• Develop training and technical resource tools to enhance the advocacy skills of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Skills in coalition building and community organizing
• Proficient in grant management and media advocacy
