Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support strategic nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide leadership, technical assistance, and project management while collaborating with various stakeholders, with the option for home-based work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused initiatives, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change
• Track and report on project metrics to ensure accountability and achieve funder deliverables related to PN-3 nutrition advocacy
• Develop collaborative relationships with experts and advocacy entities to enhance nutrition policy development and implementation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Demonstrated ability in coalition building and community organizing
• Proficiency in grant management and advocacy communications
