Senior Adyen Payment Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Adyen Payment Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on Adyen platform capabilities, integration design, and migration strategies
• Review and validate integration architecture and advise on settlement and reconciliation processes
• Support testing and validation efforts for payment flows and assist in risk identification during migration

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on payment systems and PSP integrations
• 3+ years of hands-on Adyen implementation experience in production environments
• Experience with Adyen's Balance Platform, Checkout API, tokenization, and dispute management
• Background in complex migration programs involving PSP transitions or payment infrastructure modernization
• Strong back-end development skills across common enterprise stacks (Java, Python, Node.js, .NET)
