Job Summary
To support the deployment and continuous improvement of test systems for satellite PCBAs, the full-time salaried Senior Aerospace Manufacturing Test Engineer will manage test strategies, perform root-cause failure analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing partners, primarily onsite at Contract Manufacturing locations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize test setups and processes at Contract Manufacturing sites, including the design and qualification of test fixtures and equipment
- Conduct PCBA debugging and root-cause analysis while creating documentation and training materials for technicians
- Collaborate with R&D and Test Development teams to enhance test systems and procedures for improved effectiveness and throughput
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience with complex test systems, including RF functional tests and ICT/bed-of-nails fixtures
- 8+ years of experience integrating software and hardware systems
- Proficiency in Linux/RHEL and programming/scripting languages such as Java or C#
- Experience using standard electronic lab test equipment to debug complex PCBAs
