Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced aerospace systems, the part-time contract Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer will focus on system architecture, design, and requirements, collaborating with electrical and software teams while operating remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system architecture efforts and decompose high-level requirements into detailed specifications
• Contribute to validation and verification (V&V) activities and oversee validation efforts
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, managing key deliverables such as system test planning and execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience with ARP4754A and DO-178 certification processes
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and I2C
• Hands-on experience with automated unit testing and integrated system-level testing
• Basic knowledge of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters
