Senior Affordable Housing Specialist

Job Summary

To support customer success in the Affordable Housing sector, the full-time Senior Product Adoption Specialist will guide clients through the adoption journey, ensuring they realize the full value of AppFolio's solutions while developing resources and serving as a subject matter expert on compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customers master Affordable Housing tools to drive long-term loyalty and product value
• Develop impactful resources and lead initiatives to promote adoption across a high volume of units
• Act as a liaison between Product, Sales, and Customer Care teams, providing insights to influence software improvements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Affordable Housing compliance (HUD and LIHTC)
• Advanced knowledge of TRACS, voucher submissions, and state-specific LIHTC reporting
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of units/tasks while focusing on long-term adoption goals
• Exceptional ability to explain complex regulatory requirements to diverse audiences
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to drive product improvements
