Senior AI Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Driving application security initiatives, the full-time Senior AI Application Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle, implement robust security architectures, and leverage AI tools for threat modeling and vulnerability management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures to protect against prompt injection, adversarial machine learning, and data exfiltration
• Conduct security-focused code reviews and lead threat modeling exercises while embedding security practices across the SDLC
• Implement and manage SAST and DAST tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application security, including hands-on security assessments and penetration testing
• Deep expertise in AI-native security and securing agentic coding workflows
• Proficiency in at least one programming language from Fabric's stack (Ruby, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and understanding common application vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with cloud security in AWS environments and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
