Senior AI Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior AI Automation Engineer will design, build, and optimize integrations and advanced AI workflows while managing the Workato automation stack in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Workato recipes and orchestrations for core platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Slack
• Architect multi-agent systems and implement error handling and observability for reliable workflows
• Automate data flow processes to support AI retrieval and ensure high-quality results through rigorous evaluation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in integration, automation, AI, or software engineering, including 1+ year with Workato
• Proven expertise with Enterprise iPaaS and deep proficiency in designing complex AI workflows across core platforms
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, Ruby, or similar languages, with a focus on APIs and scalable systems
• Experience with vector databases for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI/ML concepts in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and Jira for work tracking
