Senior AI Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior AI Automation Engineer to work remotely, who will build and deploy micro-apps, integrate AI into existing systems, and harden applications for production within the IT AI Automation team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy micro-apps in collaboration with business owners, transitioning proofs of concept to production
• Design and publish reusable AI integrations and agents, including retrieval and tool-calling pipelines
• Maintain applications on a governed GCP platform, ensuring secure operations and automated software maintenance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and shipping production software or data/automation applications
• Strong proficiency in Python and solid experience with SQL and governed data schemas
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably GCP, including deployment and operations
• Knowledge of production fundamentals such as authentication, CI/CD, and logging
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and SaaS platforms
