Senior AI Back-End Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and scale async REST/WebSocket APIs using Python 3.11+ and FastAPI
• Implement multi-agent workflows and integrate LLM providers for A/B and cost-aware routing
• Maintain robust CI/CD processes and instrument services with observability metrics

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production APIs in Python; 2+ years with FastAPI or similar async stack
• Deep knowledge of async I/O, Pydantic v2, and observability
• Hands-on experience with Semantic Kernel or comparable agent frameworks
• Strong skills in Postgres, including SQLModel/SQLAlchemy 2 and Alembic migrations
• Experience with LLM APIs and dependency management via Poetry
