Senior AI/Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build AI-powered systems that automate RFP discovery and document analysis, the contract Senior AI/Data Engineer will work remotely to develop backend AI workflows, create semantic search pipelines, and improve system reliability and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI workflows for RFP intake, document parsing, extraction, and qualification
• Create RAG and semantic search pipelines over RFP documents
• Develop FastAPI services and backend APIs to support human review and approval workflows

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years building backend APIs or data platforms in production
• Strong Python backend engineering experience
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, or AI workflow automation
• Strong understanding of data modeling and validation
