Senior AI Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the data acquisition, serving, and reporting infrastructure, the full-time Senior AI Data Engineer will build resilient web scrapers, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop reporting models while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain LLM-assisted web scrapers that self-diagnose and repair issues with minimal manual intervention
• Ensure stable daily scraping runs with effective monitoring and handling of upstream failures
• Develop and optimize reporting infrastructure, including data models and dashboards, while driving data quality through anomaly detection

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering with ownership of mission-critical production systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web scraping tools such as Scrapy, Playwright, and Selenium
• Hands-on experience in building LLM-powered workflows and production-grade MCP servers
• Proven experience in designing reporting and analytics layers, including data modeling and transformations
• Familiarity with the GCP data stack and advanced SQL, along with a reliability mindset for system ownership
