Senior AI Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior AI Data Scientist will develop and deploy AI and ML solutions, manage the AI lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful business strategies in the insurance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions, including ML and generative AI systems, ensuring integration and scalability
• Manage end-to-end solution development from problem framing to deployment, including data preparation and model evaluation
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business objectives and translate model outcomes into actionable insights

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP)
• Experience with cloud tools such as Google Vertex AI or AWS SageMaker
• Ability to frame business problems using hypothesis-driven approaches and experimentation
