Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of applied AI systems, ensuring safe and reliable outputs
• Prototype quickly and scale to production while mentoring engineers on AI best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing and new features

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in applied AI/LLM
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks (LangChain, vector DBs)
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and API-based LLM integration
• Understanding of risks in AI and methods for mitigation
• Experience leading complex projects and mentoring other engineers
