Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of AI-powered mortgage technology, the remote Senior AI Engineer will design and deliver production AI systems, partner with cross-functional teams, and own architecture decisions for LLM-based systems in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver production AI and agentic systems across document intelligence and workflow automation
• Own architecture decisions for LLM-based systems, including retrieval, orchestration, and evaluation
• Build and maintain evals and observability frameworks to ensure system quality and performance

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building and shipping production LLM/ML systems
• Proven experience designing and deploying agentic systems with strong Python proficiency
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and deep experience with evals and observability for LLM systems
• Solid cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS, including APIs and serverless architecture
• Ability to manage cost and latency tradeoffs in production AI systems
