Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing platform team, the remote Senior AI Engineer will own critical aspects of data extraction and pipeline infrastructure, utilizing modern AI tooling to optimize performance and drive technical decisions in a contracted to full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Use AI tooling such as Claude Code and prompt engineering to accelerate development and optimize complex problems
• Develop and maintain core data extraction and pipeline infrastructure for over 500 integrations
• Drive the architecture and execution of pipeline modernization initiatives while ensuring high code quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with proven ownership of production systems
• Deep expertise in Python and hands-on experience with modern AI tooling
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration
• Solid SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) with the ability to optimize queries
• Comfortable with ambiguity and possess an ownership mentality in a fast-paced startup environment
