Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing startup, the contracted-to-full-time Senior AI Engineer will own critical parts of the data extraction and pipeline infrastructure, leveraging AI tooling to optimize performance and reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize AI tooling for development acceleration, optimization of complex problems, and shipping code efficiently
• Develop and maintain core data extraction and pipeline infrastructure for over 500 integrations
• Drive technical decisions and manage pipeline modernization initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record in production systems
• Deep expertise in Python and hands-on experience with modern AI tooling such as Claude/Opus
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration
• Solid SQL knowledge, particularly with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, with the ability to optimize queries
• Ability to work in the EST timezone and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
