Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To design and build an AI-powered compliance scraping engine and cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will manage the AWS environment, develop a containerized worker fleet, and implement token optimization strategies while operating independently and coordinating with the internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure the production AWS environment using infrastructure as code (Terraform or CDK)
• Build a stateless, containerized worker fleet that integrates Playwright-based page rendering and Claude API analysis
• Document architecture decisions, API contracts, and operational procedures continuously throughout the project

Required qualifications

• Production backend Python experience, including async patterns and testing
• Direct production experience with AWS ECS/Fargate, SQS, API Gateway, and RDS (PostgreSQL)
• Experience using the Anthropic Claude API in production, demonstrating prompt design and cost trade-offs
• Production Playwright experience at scale, including handling dynamic content and screenshot strategies
• Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals to evaluate analysis tools and methods
