Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To build production AI systems relied upon by real customers, the full-time Senior Applied AI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain AI workflows, backend services, and retrieval systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI systems and customer-facing AI features
• Develop agentic workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, tools, APIs, and backend services
• Monitor and improve production AI systems for quality, reliability, and cost efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend engineering fundamentals
• Proven experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs and related technologies in production environments
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
