Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and governing production-grade Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will work remotely to manage architecture ownership, implement enterprise-grade RAG systems, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end GenAI architecture and define RAG reference architectures
• Design and implement multi-source RAG pipelines, addressing enterprise failure modes
• Act as a technical authority for GenAI, mentoring engineers and educating stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and CI/CD within an enterprise software development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and RAG systems, including embeddings and retrieval tuning
• Familiarity with data infrastructure, including vector databases and containerized deployments
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards, particularly GDPR and data residency
• 5-8+ years of experience in software/ML engineering, with at least 2 years focused on GenAI/NLP systems
