Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative AI and agent-first products, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will build and deliver features to production, actively participate in product definition, and influence engineering practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI and agent-first products and features across the full software stack, ensuring quality from architecture to release
• Drive product definition by collaborating with designers and PMs to ideate, explore, and prototype solutions that align with organizational goals
• Share knowledge and champion the use of AI solutions among engineering teams to accelerate product development and execution

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional programming experience in web application and backend environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Typescript/Javascript or Python, with strong knowledge of modern web application frameworks like React or Rails
• Hands-on experience building AI and agent-powered features using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google
• Understanding of the strengths and limitations of frontier and open weight models
• Experience with continuous delivery through feature flagging and trunk-based development
