Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, development, and deployment of intelligent systems, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will own end-to-end AI solutions, set technical direction, and mentor other engineers while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and oversee end-to-end AI systems, providing technical direction and mentoring for design reviews
• Define and implement strategies for using LLMs, including routing, orchestration, and model selection
• Manage deployment patterns across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring operational excellence and data architecture integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of production software experience with strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and Python/SQL
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating medallion architectures at scale
• Production experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and retrieval systems
• Strong understanding of secure system design and handling of PII-sensitive data
