Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced AI systems, the contract Senior AI Engineer will work remotely, focusing on building and optimizing large language models (LLMs), developing APIs with Python, and utilizing AI-assisted coding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, including vector databases and semantic search
• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python and FastAPI, ensuring security and performance best practices
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to automate workflows, optimize engineering processes, and enhance code quality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Python and API development
• 2+ years of experience working with large language models (LLMs) and related frameworks
• Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning principles
• Experience with multi-agent systems and complex problem-solving applications
• Proficiency in developing AI/ML technologies for large-scale business applications
