Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and development of LLM-powered systems, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will architect and deploy AI solutions for clinical decision support and document understanding in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and ship production AI systems for clinical applications, including orchestration and evaluation
• Lead the development of structured information extraction pipelines from clinical documents
• Operationalize models trained by the AI Scientist team, ensuring effective feedback loops and production health

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered or production ML systems with strong Python skills
• Experience with LLM orchestration, function/tool calling, and retrieval system design
• Working knowledge of cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, and modern data tooling like dbt or Airflow
• Track record of designing evaluation systems for LLM applications
• Practical understanding of HIPAA, BAAs, and PHI handling in regulated environments
