Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of AI in construction, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will design and evolve features for Manny, the AI scheduling assistant, while working remotely and collaborating closely with the CTO and lead AI engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own Manny features end to end across the agent backend, tools, and UI
• Improve agent behavior and reliability through prompt engineering and tool design
• Integrate and tune LLMs across providers, balancing quality, latency, and cost

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with recent hands-on work building production LLM features
• Strong proficiency in Python for building production services
• Hands-on experience with agentic systems and orchestration frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph
• Practical prompt engineering skills for shaping model behavior and debugging failures
• Experience evaluating LLM systems, including building datasets and writing evaluators
