Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will architect, build, and implement AI platforms while providing technical leadership across distributed teams and mentoring engineers to enhance applied AI solutions in healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the deployment of state-of-the-art AI models and systems that enhance Abacus's products and services
• Design and implement ML/AI pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation to enable rapid experimentation
• Mentor software and AI developers, ensuring alignment with architecture strategy and coding standards

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of ML/AI engineering experience in high-velocity companies or relevant academic research
• 6+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Databricks and associated technologies
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and scalable ML/AI architecture
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
