Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced AI systems, the full-time Senior Principal AI Engineer will design and operate distributed training systems for large neural networks while optimizing GPU cluster performance and collaborating with research teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize distributed training infrastructure for large neural networks across GPU clusters
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in compute, memory, and network systems
• Collaborate with research teams to productionize large model training pipelines

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with distributed systems or machine learning systems
• Experience running large-scale workloads on GPU clusters
• Production experience with PyTorch distributed training
• Strong understanding of parallelism strategies and low-level GPU communication
• Familiarity with GPU orchestration tools and communication libraries such as Slurm, Kubernetes, NCCL, and InfiniBand
