Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To accelerate the development of cutting-edge AI and agentic systems in mortgage technology, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will design and deliver production AI solutions, manage architecture decisions for LLM-based systems, and ensure system observability and cost management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver production AI and agentic systems across document intelligence and workflow automation
• Make architecture decisions for LLM-based systems, including retrieval, tool use, and evaluation
• Manage cost and latency at production volume while partnering with AI product and data engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on production LLM-based or ML systems
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying agentic systems, including orchestration and multi-step workflows
• Strong proficiency in Python, including production-grade code quality and deployment practices
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and production experience with evals and observability for LLM systems
• Fluency with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including serverless and API design
