Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a new AI Engineering team focused on mental healthcare, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will manage the AI lifecycle from prototyping to production rollout, building backend APIs, frontend interfaces, and internal tools in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop full-stack AI solutions, including frontend interfaces and backend services, to integrate AI capabilities into workflows
- Build and iterate on agentic AI systems that utilize reasoning and multi-step workflows to address healthcare challenges
- Implement evaluation frameworks and quality metrics to enhance AI system performance and reliability over time
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience with production software systems
- 1+ year of experience with LLMs or agentic AI systems beyond basic use cases
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience in backend services and APIs
- Experience in modern frontend development using frameworks like React or Next.js
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, containerized services, and CI/CD workflows
